OIL FOR OPIUM

The only difference between Afgan and Iraq is one economy is run by oil, the other opium. Wherever US troops go the terrorists will follow. If we spend a trillion in building a corrupt government in Afghan like Iraq the Taliban or whatever name you want to use for terrorist will move to Pakistan or another country. The same thing will happen again. What a ast of money and lives.

Building the American empire is wrong. Glad to finally have Friedman finally make some forein policy sense.
